Therapy Experience

Nancy Goldman opened her private practice in 1999, focusing on psychotherapy for a wide range of issues, including anxiety, traumatic, mood and adjustment disorders; family and couple’s problems, grief counseling, chronic pain, stress management; and health and wellness education.

She has spent over 30 years in the Jackson area working in the psychiatric field, helping patients with their mental health needs. Her experience ranges from working with the chronically mentally ill in both inpatient and outpatient settings, group and family therapies, intensive therapies for couples and individuals to individual psychotherapy.

Education

Nancy holds bachelor and master’s degrees from the University of Mississippi and a Master of Science in Adult Psychiatric Nursing from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Affiliations

She is a member of the American Nurses Association, EMDR International Association, and the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association. Nancy is a certified forest-therapy guide through the Association of Forest and Nature Therapy Guides & Programs.
